NC Central kindly filled the void left when Radford couldn’t make its scheduled trip to Raleigh, and for that favor the Eagles were greeted by an NC State team playing to the peak of its ability at the offensive end. The Wolfpack posted the second-best shooting percentage in school history (.683) on the way to a 108-70 victory.
Factors
The Wolfpack absolutely dominated the paint, shooting over 78% on twos, led by Elissa Cunane’s 6-6 shooting performance. Cunane scored 17 points to lead the team despite playing only 20 minutes. The game was over after the first quarter with the Pack holding a 32-11 lead, and Wes Moore was able to spread the minutes across the roster.
