NC State definitely didn’t appear to be looking ahead to Clemson on Saturday night, though even if it had been, the outcome wasn’t going to change. The Wolfpack was just too dominant, and Furman’s lackluster offense was a total non-factor. If State had left its starters in the entire night, the Paladins probably get shut out.
The Pack scored 28 points in the second quarter to put this one into garbage time early, and as a result its starters didn’t need to be on the field much in the second half.
