Florida State’s defense might not be any good, but nonetheless give Bailey Hockman lots of credit for playing well for the second straight weekend. He’s really stepped up to fill the void and the Wolfpack nearly hit 40 points again.
Hockman completed over 70% of his pass attempts, and nearly half of his completions went to Thayer Thomas, who pulled in a career-high 11 catches and scored twice. The Hockman-Thomas connection delivered several big third down conversions and State was 10-15 on third downs, a big component to the victory.
