RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State gymnastics won the first regular season championship in ACC history on Saturday afternoon, taking a record-breaking 197.575-196.600 decision over No. 22 Clemson.
The evening was highlighted by Emily Shepard firing the highest all-around score in program history, with 39.750 additionally marking the highest all-around total ever produced by a member from an ACC school. Shepard, who won her fourth all-around crown of the 2024 season, also became the first gymnast in NC State history to tab a 9.9+ on each event in the same meet.
