Seabron came to NC State as a four-star recruit (#102 overall prospect by 247). After redshirting a year he played in 24 games, averaging 5.2 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. He finished the season strong, averaging 8.4 points over the last eight games. Things started clicking later in his redshirt freshman season, as he was named the ACC Freshman of the Week after a breakout game against Notre Dame, pouring in 17 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
The next year is when Seabron really broke out. He averaged 17.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.4 steals per game.
