Former NC State Women’s Tennis Player Diana Shnaider won Silver Medal in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Doubles, losing to Italy’s Errani and Paolini 6-2, 1-6 (7-10) in the Gold Medal match this morning.

Prior to the 2024 Paris Olympics, no NC State Women’s Tennis player had gone on to be an Olympian.
