Former NC State All-American Offensive Lineman Joe Thuney will be playing in the Super Bowl this Sunday as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. This will mark his 6th Super Bowl appearance in his first 9 seasons in the NFL.
Thuney is on a path toward the NFL Hall of Fame, having earned All-Pro 1st Team honors twice and 2nd Team honors twice.
The fact that he is tied for the second-most Super Bowl appearances in NFL history only serves to bolster his resume.
- Tom Brady – 10 appearances
- Joe Thuney – 6 appearances
- Stephen Gostkowski – 6 appearances
- Mike Lodish – 6 appearances
Thuney already has 4 Super Bowl rings, winning 2 with New England and 2 with Kansas City.
