NC State point guard verbal Dennis Smith Jr. is expected to make his commitment official this week, during the early signing period. ESPNU will be airing a signing day special on Thursday beginning at 6 p.m. ET and Smith is expected to appear on that show, per Chip Miller.
Smith, who is a consensus top-10 recruit, is still rehabbing from an ACL injury he suffered in August. He nonetheless is regarded as one of the top prep point guards in the country.
As for the other potential additions to NC State's 2016 recruiting class, it seems we'll just have to keep waiting (im)patiently.
