Mock Drafts are what they are. They’re a mock. Can you put much stock in them? Especially before the 2016-17 season has even begun? So much can happen before now and next summer. People can rise, and people can fall. Injuries are bound to hurt some peoples draft stock.
So, are mock drafts worthless. No, I don’t think so. There are people whose whole career involves studying drafts year-in and year-out. They look at teams needs and they have developed an eye for assessing talent. Are they always right? Of course not, but if every single mock draft has a player being a lottery pick…that has to mean somethings right?
