This past weekend 3-Star 2021 Defensive End Javon Nelson (6’3″/265) included NC State in his Top-5 along with Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Arkansas and Virginia.
Nelson cut the likes of Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Louisville, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Florida, West Virginia and others.
Through 3 games thus far for Riverdale (Murfreesboro, TN) in 2020, Nelson has 16 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. Rivals and 247Sports both rank Nelson as the #8 player in the state of Tennessee.
NC State offered Nelson back on May 18th.
