Broughton baseball coach Jere Morton IV led the Capitals to their first Bobby Murray high school baseball tournament title since 1991 with a 12-2 win over Corinth Holders on April 6, 2018.
The Capitals junior was named MVP after helping Broughton to a 3-0 record in the two-day tournament. The Caps defeated Corinth Holders for the Bobby Murray title on April 6, 2018.
