D1Baseball released its 2025 Preseason Top-150 Starting Pitchers, and NC State had three pitchers represented.
Junior Dom Fritton is ranked 87th. After a phenomenal freshman season, Fritton struggled last year, finishing with a 3-7 record and a 7.64 ERA. He recorded 72 strikeouts in 73 innings with a 1.63 WHIP. As a freshman, Fritton was named a First Team Freshman All-American by D1Baseball, Baseball America, and Perfect Game, and earned a spot on the ACC All-Freshman Team. In his debut season in Raleigh, he posted a 3-4 record with a 3.59 ERA, a 1.18 WHIP, and 75 strikeouts in 62.
