Isaac Trotter, of CBS Sports, released his Way-Too-Early Men’s Basketball 2024 Preseason Power Rankings this week, and he put the Wolfpack at #10 in the conference.
The Wolfpack finished the regular season ranked 10th in 2023-24, but went on to win 5 games in 5 days to win the 2024 ACC Tournament for the first time since 1987. NC State would go to make a miracle run in the NCAA Tournament, making the Final Four.
NC State won’t have DJ Burns, Casey Morsell and DJ Horne, but they did bring in a Freshman class of 2 4-Star Guards in Trey Parker & Paul McNeil, and a 4-man Transfer Class of:

Guard/Forward Dontez Styles (Georgetown)
Guard Marcus Hill (Bowling Green)
There is obviously a ton of momentum and hype surrounding the Wolfpack Men’s Basketball program after winning the ACC title and going to the Final Four.
