Former NC State pitcher Carlos Rodon missed his scheduled start for the White Sox against the Indians last night due to light shoulder stiffness. The announcement came only 15 minutes before the first pitch.
Hopfully this isn’t a big deal, but you have to be slightly alarmed, because Rodon missed the first 3 months of the season with shoulder bursitis in the same shoulder.
In 12 starts this year, Rodon has a 2-5 record, a 4.15 ERA, and 76 strikeouts in 69.1 innings.
