NC State travels to upstate New York to take on the Orange of Syracuse in a battle to reach bowl eligibility. The Wolfpack have dominated the overall series with the Orange, winning 10 of 11, including all five matchups away from Carter-Finley; however, history won’t help on the field Saturday night.
Syracuse comes into the game having just ended a two-game skid with an overtime win against North Carolina. The Orange also enter the game with a bit of uncertainty at quarterback, but both senior Eric Dungey and freshman Tommy DeVito are likely to play, with each bringing a different skill set and style of play to the offense.
