Johnson was drafted by the 49ers in the 4th round of the 2014 NFL Draft, and spent his 1st 4 seasons there, playing in 63 of 64 possible regular season games. In fact, he started all 16 regular season games for San Francisco in 2017.
Seattle signed Johnson to a deal in April, and was projected to be their starting cornerback leading up to the season, but was put on the Injured Reserve with a groin injury, and was ultimately released after agreeing to an injury settlement.
