After being obliterated by UNC last night, the NC State Men’s Basketball team now occupies 16th place in the ACC with a 3-12 conference record.
With the ACC’s expansion adding three new teams (SMU, Cal, and Stanford) this season, only 15 of the 18 conference teams will qualify for the 2025 ACC Tournament.
Currently, the Wolfpack is 1.5 games behind Syracuse, which holds the 15th spot with a 5-11 ACC record. NC State also trails Cal and Notre Dame, ranked 14th and 13th respectively, both with records of 5-10.
For the Pack to have any chance of overtaking these teams, they must win at least 2 of their next 5 games.
