A new bowl cycle begins in 2020 and runs through 2025, which means a number of changes for the power conferences’ tie-ins, as Stadium’s Brett McMurphy reported Tuesday. The most notable development from the ACC’s standpoint is the addition of the Holiday Bowl, which will feature an ACC vs. Pac-12 matchup.
The Gator Bowl will feature an annual ACC-SEC matchup beginning in 2020; currently, the ACC rotates between the Gator and Music City Bowl. The Music City Bowl will be out of the rotation entirely when the new lineups are announced, becoming an annual Big Ten-SEC game.
