Since NC State guard commit Jalen Lecque is pondering a potential jump into the 2019 NBA Draft, I was wondering if that might delay his signing of a letter of intent. Not the case—Lecque put in his paperwork on Tuesday, according to a report from Adam Zagoria.
Signing doesn’t prevent him from turning pro in the spring, but it does mean he’s not considering any other colleges in the meantime, which is a relief. (Not that there are any indications he’d have second thoughts.)
Lecque’s father told Zagoria that the NBA is “not even a thought right now,” what with it being so early in Jalen’s final high school season.
