4-Star 2024 Forward Kanon Catchings (6’9″/215) will be taking an Official Visit to NC State starting this evening, according to a source.
Catchings is the #31 overall player nationally in the 2024 recruiting class according to Rivals. ESPN ranks him as the #2 player in the state of Georgia, playing for Overtime Elite with 2024 NC State Signee Trey Parker.
On September 22, 2022, Catchings verbally committed to Purdue, but he decommitted from the Boilermakers a week ago. He took an Official Visit to BYU nearly immediately after.
Technically speaking, after Ernest Ross announced he was coming back, NC State already has 13 scholarship players heading into the 2024-25 season.
