2026 Safety Lyrik Pettis (6’1″/175) has confirmed with me that he will be taking an Official Visit to NC State on June 6-8. He will also be taking an Official Visit to Duke on June 13-15.
Prior to today, Pettis was an ranked prospect. As of today, 247Sports ranks Pettis as a 3-Star prospect, the #47 Safety in the 2026 recruiting class, and the #26 overall player in the state of North Carolina.
He had 76 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions and 5 pass breakups for Crest High School (Shelby, NC) this past Fall.
NC State offered on January 20th, and he also holds offers from Duke, UNC, Wake Forest, ODU, JMU and others.
