#3 NC State lost their first home game of the season last night, falling to #16 Virginia Tech 61-72. For the 2nd straight season, the Hokies have swept the Wolfpack. Below is the Box Score with notes underneath.

- The Hokies zone defense held the Wolfpack to 35.6% shooting from the field.
- I know VT’s Elizabeth Kitley would have liked to have shot better than 50% from the field, but she left her mark with 25 points, 13 boards, 2 blocks and 3 steals.
- The Hokies hit 11 three-pointers, and each time they hit one, it seemed to stifle a Wolfpack run.
