RALEIGH, N.C. – Headlined by a career outing from junior pitcher Jason Parker and a pair of big innings offensively, the second-ranked NC State baseball team shut out top-ranked Florida State, 16-0, Friday night at Doak Field at Dail Park.
The win marked the most runs that the Wolfpack has ever scored in a game against the Seminoles and also the largest margin of victory. It’s the first time NC State has shut out FSU since 2011.
NC State remains unbeaten on the year with a perfect 18-0 record, including a 4-0 mark in ACC play.
