RALEIGH – No. 17 NC State baseball came up short in its midweek contest with Campbell on Tuesday evening at Doak Field at Dail Park, 5-3.
The Wolfpack held a two-run lead until the fourth, when the Camels scored all five of its runs. The Pack managed to tack on a run in the eighth with the bases loaded, and loaded the bags up again in the ninth, but couldn’t produce any runs.
NC State falls to 37-13 on the year while Campbell improves to 28-16 overall.
