#14 Louisville’s 6 Home runs Lead to a 25-8 Win in Game 2 at NC State

NC State’s pitchers couldn’t stop Louisville’s batters from hitting the baseball this afternoon in Game 2 of the weekend series in Raleigh, with the Cardinals crushing the Wolfpack 25-8.

Louisville racked up 22 hits against NC State today, which is the most the Pack has allowed in 2025—by six hits—surpassing the 16 hits the Hokies racked up on March 15th.

The Cardinals’ six home runs led to 15 of their 25 runs.

Sophomore Heath Andrews, the Wolfpack’s Saturday starter, surrendered seven earned runs in three innings of work, increasing his ERA on the year from 3.
