RALEIGH – Thanks to Luca Tresh’s three-run homer in the seventh inning along with insurance runs from Jonny Butler’s two-RBI double in the eighth, the No. 13 NC State baseball team overcame a late two-run deficit to defeat Tennessee Tech, 10-6, on Tuesday evening at Doak Field at Dail Park.
The Wolfpack improves to 32-10 on the year while the Golden Eagles, a team that was one win away from reaching the College World Series in 2018, move to 17-21 on the year.
Tuesday’s victory marked the 16th time this season that the Pack has fought back from a deficit at some point to win a game.
