Thatcher Demko is on the USA team, which is competing at the IIHF World Championships at this moment. Currently, he has played 2 games posting a .920 SV% and 2.00 GAA. He is backing up former Canuck Cory Schneider (who was traded for a first, which became potential future captain Bo Horvat.
But Demko isn’t perfect.
One of the biggest concerns I have for Demko is that he is 23 and only now made the NHL (I feel that mostly the blame for that falls on the Canucks’ shoulders).
