The Comoros is a small island nation located in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of East Africa. The country is made up of four main islands, and has a population of just over 800,000 people. Despite its small size, the Comoros has seen a significant increase in internet usage in recent years.
According to a report by the International Telecommunication Union, internet penetration in the Comoros stood at just 6.5% in 2010. However, by 2020, this figure had risen to 12.5%. While this may seem like a small increase, it represents a doubling of internet usage in the country over the course of a decade.
