A complete denture is a removable denture restoration that uses artificial materials to replace the missing complete dentition and related tissues in the upper or lower jaw. Complete dentures are composed of artificial teeth and bases. The denture base is closely fitted with the edentulous mucosal tissue and the adsorption force and atmospheric pressure generated by the edge sealing make the dentures adhere to the upper and lower alveolar ridges and restore the patient. The defect tissue and facial appearance can be recovered, the function of mastication and pronunciation can be restored, and the mucoperiosteal and bone tissue covered by the denture base bear the occlusal pressure of the denture.
