This season has been a discouraging one for the Ducks so far, but they have the opportunity to turn it around.
While some NHL teams find their identity in a powerhouse defense, others have a talented and efficient offense. The Anaheim Ducks, however, have struggled immensely at both ends of the ice. Although the defense has certainly improved, the Ducks’ offense is virtually non-existent, and it has been since the start of the season.
Anaheim did not win until their fifth game against the Minnesota Wild on October 18th. After this first victory, the Ducks lost the next five consecutive games to close out the month of October.
