One such company is SpaceX, which has launched a constellation of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites called Starlink. These satellites orbit the Earth at an altitude of around 550 kilometers, which is much closer than traditional geostationary satellites that orbit at an altitude of around 36,000 kilometers.
