Saturday night was one of redemption for all but one team in the NHL playoffs. Every team that came in trailing its first-round series 1-0 evened things on Saturday, except the Winnipeg Jets.
The Anaheim Ducks sunk the Jets to a 2-0 series deficit with a 2-1 win.
Jakob Silfverberg's game-winning goal with just 20 seconds remaining in the third period gave the Ducks the commanding lead in the series. Game 3 is Monday, and the series will move to Winnipeg. That has to be a welcome change for the Jets.
While Anaheim has proved to be a good road team all season, a change of scenery might be what the Jets need to grab a game and stay away from the dreaded 0-3 hole.
