The Ottawa Senators have fired coach Dave Cameron and most of his staff, the team announced Tuesday.
Cameron has a 70-50-17 record since taking over as the franchise's 11th head coach on Dec. 8, 2014. Prior to that, he had served as an assistant with the Senators for three-plus seasons.
Assistants Andre Tourigny and Rick Wamsley are were dismissed. Assistant Jason Smith was offerend another position within the organization.
