What a day for Rod Brind’Amour. Hours after finalizing a new three-year contract to remain the head coach of the Carolina Hurricanes, he was named coach of the year.
“This is a great honor to even be thought of in this category,” Brind’Amour said after winning the Jack Adams Award.
