Reports: Flyers signing defenseman Keith Yandle to 1-year deal

The Philadelphia Flyers are signing free agent defenseman Keith Yandle to a one-year, $900,000 contract, multiple outlets reported Tuesday.

The Athletic reported the deal includes a no-trade clause for the 34-year-old veteran, whose contract was bought out by the Florida Panthers earlier this month.

Yandle previously played for Flyers coach Alain Vigneault with the New York Rangers during the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. Philadelphia forward Kevin Hayes was also a member of those Rangers teams.

Yandle owns the NHL’s longest active ironman streak, having played in 922 consecutive regular season games since March 2009.
