Longtime NHL assistant Luke Richardson reportedly landed his first head coaching position.
Frank Seravelli of Daily Faceoff reported Friday that the Chicago Blackhawks will hire Richardson to lead the team. He has been an NHL assistant coach for eight years, most recently spending the last four seasons on the Montreal Canadiens bench.
