Report: Islanders have deal in place for Zach Parise yet to be announced

According to Michael Russo, Zach Parise has informed him that a deal with the New York Islanders was signed this summer. All that remains is for GM Lou Lamoriello to filed the paperwork with the league.

Parise will be joining the Islanders for training camp later this month.

Wild buyout Parise

The Minnesota Wild made some big and expensive moves this summer. GM Bill Guerin opted to buyout the remaining four years on the contracts of franchise stalwarts Zach Parise and Ryan Suter.

Parise and Suter, both 36, signed with the Wild as free agents on July 4, 2012, and have played the past nine seasons together in Minnesota.
