DALLAS -- The St. Louis Blues are now knocking on the door of the Western Conference finals. They withstood a flurry of scoring chances from the Dallas Stars to hold on and beat Dallas 4-1 and head home to St. Louis with a 3-2 series lead.
How it happened: For a good portion of the game, the Stars arguably played the better game. Large stretches of this game were up and down the ice, which favors their style of play. But it was the Blues cashing in opportunities while the Stars missed.
