BOSTON -- Ever since he tore a ligament in his right knee on Nov. 15, Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos has, once again, been forced to answer questions about his health -- again.
The last two seasons have been difficult for the 27-year-old forward, who has been sidelined since having surgery on Nov. 17 to repair a lateral meniscus tear. With the exception of Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Pittsburgh Penguins last season, he missed the entire 2016 Stanley Cup playoffs because of a blood clot near his collarbone.
