Pittsburgh Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said Wednesday that forwards Patric Hornqvist and Bryan Rust and defenseman Justin Schultz are out for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals in Ottawa on Wednesday night.
But they could be getting some help. Defensemen Trevor Daley and Mark Streit will be game-time decisions, the coach said, after both took part in the morning skate.
Hornqvist, Rust and Schultz remain day to day, Sullivan said.
Schultz (upper body) and Rust (upper body) were both injured in the Penguins' Game 2 victory over the Senators, while Hornqvist (upper body) was scratched before the game.
