Superstar Patrick Kane’s historical 26-game point streak came to an end in the Chicago Blackhawks’ 3-0 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday. Kane’s streak was the longest individual scoring streak in 23 years, according to the NHL on Twitter.
Kane was appreciative of his remarkable feat but held a forward outset when it ended, per Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune:
Patrick Kane: "It was a good run. When you have to talk about it every day it gets a little taxing, but I’m excited just to play hockey now"

Kane’s streak is the 11th-longest streak of all time, according to Mike Chambers of the Denver Post, and six of the players on that list are Hall of Famers.
