When it comes to giving up things for Lent, everyone is different.
Some do things as silly as staying off their social media accounts. Others decide not to eat or drink certain things. As for Florida Panthers veteran Jaromir Jagr, he is removing some caffeine from his life for the second year in a row.
Last year, it was a soda. This year, it's coffee.
While it may be tough for even a casual coffee drinker to give up the drink, it may be even tougher for the 44-year-old Panther. According to Tom Perrotta of the Wall Street Journal, Jagr is used to downing lots of coffee on a daily basis:
When Jagr gave up Diet Coke last year—“I drank it every day, I would have five a day at least,” he said—he tried it again after Easter.
