No One Left: How Each Top Seed Was Eliminated

This year, all of the top seeds were eliminated by the end of the second round. There are a variety of reasons each top seed fell short.

With a crushing 6-1 defeat in Game 7 by the St. Louis Blues, the Dallas Stars were eliminated from the playoffs. With the Stars’ elimination, there are no top-seeded teams remaining in the playoffs. There are different reasons why each top seed fell short of the Conference Finals. Each team had their own weaknesses that a capable opponent was able to exploit.
