The NHL playoff picture is changing daily, and it is likely to continue to do so until the regular season ends April 8.
The Tampa Bay Lightning moved back into first place in the Atlantic Division and the Eastern Conference after beating the New York Rangers 7-3 Friday night at Madison Square Garden.
That victory gave the 108 points, one more than the Boston Bruins. Boston had jumped over Tampa Bay Thursday night when the Bruins beat the Lightning 4-2.
