NHL News: Sharks get Christian Jaros in a 3-way deal, Penguins GM Jim Rutherford resigns out of nowhere, and Jack Roslovic to debut in Columbus

The San Jose Sharks have acquired defenseman Christian Jaros from the Ottawa Senators. A deal that also involved the Anaheim Ducks who acquired defenseman Trevor Carrick.

Ottawa obtains forward Jack Kopacka and the Sharks 7th round pick in the 2022 Draft.

NHL Trade: Sharks acquire Christian Jaros

San Jose first acquired Jack Kopacka from the Ducks in exchange for Trevor Carrick. They then flipped Kopacka and a 7th for Christian Jaros.

“Christian is a big right-shot defenseman who plays a physical game,” GM Doug Wilson said.
