The NHL and fans alike were all holding their breath that they could get to open the regular season without a hitch. Today, the Dallas Stars cancelled practice and now we are learning that their season will be delayed.
NHL News: Dallas Stars have COVID-19 outbreak
The Dallas Stars are rescheduling their games with the NHL as they are forced to shut down due to six players and two staffers testing positive for COVID-19.
They will still play 56 games but condensed into a 110 days. Due to protocols they will not be able to start their season until January 19.
