The 2024 NHL draft is slated to kick off on Friday night at the Sphere in Las Vegas, and there should be no shortage of drama during the two-day event. The San Jose Sharks hold the No. 1 overall pick and are widely expected to use it on Boston University center Macklin Celebrini.
However, there's plenty of uncertainty surrounding the rest of the draft, as few mock drafts fall in line after Celebrini is off the board.
Even if most mocks were in agreement, it only takes one team to make a surprising move for everything to descend into chaos.
