Max Domi Suspended 1 Game: Latest Details, Comments, Reaction

On Friday, the NHL suspended Arizona Coyotes rookie left winger Max Domi for one game for instigating a fight during Thursday's matchup against the Anaheim Ducks, per Adam Gretz of CBS Sports.

The incident came with less than three minutes remaining in Anaheim's 5-1 victory over Arizona. Ducks star Ryan Garbutt hit Coyotes defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson after Ekman-Larsson had cleared the puck, and Domi then charged at Garbutt to retaliate.

"When they go after our best player," Domi said after the game, per the Coyotes, "that's just how hockey works."

Domi was in violation of Rule 46.
