The Los Angeles Kings have scheduled a Monday news conference to name John Stevens as their next head coach.
General manager Rob Blake confirmed a press release would come later Sunday announcing the news, per Jon Rosen of Fox Sports West.
Stevens, 50, previously served as the Philadelphia Flyers' coach from 2006-2010. He was also the Kings' interim coach during the 2011-12 season.
