Over the last couple of days, I have been able to get an interview with former NHLer Daniel Carcillo. Carcillo played in 429 NHL games, split between the Phoenix Coyotes, Philadelphia Flyers, Chicago Blackhawks, Los Angeles Kings, and New York Rangers. He registered 48 goals and 52 assists, for exactly 100 points, to go along with 1,233 penalty minutes. He won a Stanley Cup (2013) with the Blackhawks, recording 1 assist in 4 playoff games. However, it isn’t what Carcillo did on the ice that has made a big impact on the hockey world. Rather, it has been what he has done off of it with CTE awareness.
